Writing about writing, while writing
A short pause - and a few of our most-read posts from the archive
Hi there writing friends, it’s Chris here with a quick one this week,
As you may know, we’re writing coaches who write about writing and writers, and run writing courses. You might want to read that sentence a few times before it makes sense.
We’re both on deadlines this week. I’ve been commissioned to write about creative struggle - and I’m using myself as an example - while Bec is writing about writing and AI.
In short, life feels very meta. So instead of confusing ourselves even more, we thought we’d share a few of our most read posts from last year.
These are pieces readers kept coming back to - the ones that sparked replies, got forwarded or did their job of helping someone sit down and keep going when writing felt harder than it should.
We’ll be back next week with something newly written. For now, here are a few posts from the archive that still seem to earn their keep:
If you’ve read them before, consider this a nudge to reread. If you haven’t, they should stand on their own.
Back to our deadlines.
Chris (and Bec)
