I really needed to read this. I just started on Substack and was experiencing overwhelm after setting it up and then writing my first two posts. At the same time, I'm back writing my novel. I'm a tiny fish in a big pond and it's so easy to feel engulfed; to see failure because you haven't yet achieved what you set out to do, and as a result don't see what you've actually achieved, which is bigger than you think.
This has landed on the day I hit over 100 subscribers since launching my Substack one a half month’s ago. I’m going out for dinner!
