Hi there! Really pumped for this sprint -- I signed up for the one in April but had unexpected travel plans. I'm hoping my spotty recovery from travel and a family emergency in April will get a super-charged recharge next week. I have been writing a novel for.... (wait for it) *years* and the 60K+ chapter outline I have, while helpful, is not the connect-the-dots guide I thought it would be. I have a new narrator, some new dates in the timeline, and a new focus on one sibling as the protagonist instead of bopping around between all three of them.
Looking forward to finally seeing a *whole lot* of words on the page that actually tell a story instead of just pieces of one.
PS the questionnaire was a great help!! Thank you!!
Just posted a comment but noticed a typo and couldn't bear it! Here goes again:
I love the idea of the sprint (and totally see why it's time to upgrade to paid). I'm hoping I may be able to join the May 6 one, but it's already quite a busy week. Two questions.
1. Are there set times of day for producing something or showing up ?
2. Is there a total-per-day amount of time we are required to put in?
Hi Emma - love your attention to detail :) Thanks for considering joining us on the next sprint. To answer your questions: No there are no set times and there's no daily total for you to hit. We suggest that you write every day - however much you can do or for however long - but this isn't in any way compulsory. You do receive an email from us at 8am GMT each morning for you to read and consider as you write and we do ask you to complete a pre-race questionnaire and wrap up up questionnaire. Both of these are to aid your learning. Hope to see you on the starting line soon.
Hey guys, I'll be there again! The last one was so helpful and I loved being a part of it x
Amazing! Can't wait to see what your goal is next month :)

Great! Thank you. I’m in. Got my running shoes on.
